About Celebration United Methodist Church
The Celebration is a church of small groups. Each individual at The Celebration is encouraged to connect with others through a small group for emotional and spiritual care.
We focus on the unchurched. Our purpose is to reach people who haven’t experienced God’s love in their life and to reach people for whom the church hasn’t been a significant part of their life. Styles of worship and music that reach unchurched people will be employed.
The Celebration is a church where laity is primary care givers. The Bible directs us that Pastors are to equip people for ministry not do the ministry themselves.
We also encourage innovation and creativity. We embrace the idea of trying new things and risk falling on our face understanding that failure is not falling, it’s refusing to get up and try again.
We are also a purpose driven church. We base all of our decisions on the purpose of the church, not personal preferences.
